Pictures from last night

I seem to remember last year's celebration was bigger, wilder, more dangerous, but maybe that's because last year was my first Chinese New Year's in Beijing since I was five.

Last night wasn't bad by any means. I was able to take lots of videos, which I'll share shortly. These pictures -- especially the last two -- hopefully give you an idea of the scale of this citywide national party.
