Sleeping and not sleeping

Right now I'm not sleeping, even though it's 1:50 a.m., and last night I went to sleep past 2. It looks like my biological clock is resetting itself according to its internal rhythms. The days of me waking at 8:30 a.m. on the dot -- and 7:30 before that -- are probably over. This previous morning I woke up at 10:30, and tomorrow morning... who knows. I hope it's not after 10, because I was getting used to this morning thing.

Anyway... apparently, according to the NY Times, Viagra might be able to help with jetlag. I've always wanted an excuse to try that pill.

Joke intended.

But seriously, reading over that article, I've decided I'm able to make my own rules. Sleep plenty before taking the trip: decidedly not check. Avoid drinking alcohol: oops. Naps and caffeine: neither. I did get a lot of sunlight though, so maybe there's the panacea to all our ills, the wars and famines, the small sadnesses and large, poignant tragedies of our life and times in this sometimes cruel, cold world: sunshine.
